Johnny Depp Feels Rape During Photo Shoots????? Oh oh….lol
48 year-old Johnny Depp poses on the cover of November’s Vanity Fair, where he shows off his tattoos and his graceful aging. You can’t deny the fact that he’s still as hot as ever.
Depp discussed how much he hates photo shoots, saying: “You just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped. The whole thing.” go here..
Right, because being violently forced to degrade and give yourself up is exactly like having your picture taken.
“It feels like a kind of weird—just weird, man,” Depp continued. “Whenever you have a photo shoot or something like that, it’s like—you just feel dumb. It’s just so stupid.”
This coming from a guy who wears a pirate costume for work.
But finally, someone in Hollywood admits why they take on frivolous movie roles:
“Basically, if they’re going to pay me the stupid money right now, I’m going to take it,” Depp admitted.
The rape thing is just ridiculous, but if anything, at least Depp is being honest about how he feels and not giving some well-rehearsed publicist answer. Seriously, it’s nice to not hear “I just really believe in this character and Jack Sparrow’s story needs to be told and I want to leave a legacy and blah blah blah.”
Depp admits: “I have to. I mean, it’s not for me. Do you know what I mean? At this point, it’s for my kids. It’s ridiculous, yeah, yeah. But ultimately is it for me? No.”
Are the goatee, fedora and Moscot glasses for his kids, too?
Johnny Depp’s latest project will be The Lone Ranger, which is a Disney project that originally got canned. Due to budget disagreements, Disney cancelled the production. But they recently decided to go ahead with the flick with a new budget of $215 million. It was originally budgeted at $250 million.
Armie Hammer is set to play The Lone Ranger while Johnny Depp will play his sidekick, Tonto. Production will start early next year, arriving in theatres at the end of 2012.
And speaking of “stupid money,” Depp was originally set to receive a $20 million paycheck for playing a guy named Tonto. Since the budget cut, Disney no doubt reduced his salary, but I doubt it’s by much
